Masked for life

How mandatory masking and other silly measures silence and ultimately destroy our most vulnerable generation. Our children deserve better!

As I start writing these lines I’m still stunned by the expressiveness of the above picture…

Regardless of the fact that I myself am the father of three school-age children in these chaotic times, the above picture expresses for me in almost disarming simplicity what an entire generation of school children has had to suffer for almost three years now and still has to suffer in many places. Not to mention what will happen again next fall.

At this point, I would like to say once again and unequivocally: Shame on you! - you irresponsible and conscienceless politicians, you greedy and inhuman profiteers, you compliant helpers in the executive and judiciary. And shame on you, you parents, who have stood by and watched this gang of nefarious psychopaths inflict massive irreparable damage on your children and deprive them of their childhood.

Sorry to get a little emotional, but this thing goes so against the grain for me (and probably all the parents who haven't gotten out of the habit of thinking for themselves yet) that I just had to let it out once. Otherwise, the whole thing is no longer bearable.

The number of children and adolescents with mental health problems is shooting through the roof - worldwide. Suicides in this age group have increased massively. In many schools, bullying of unvaccinated students or the exclusion of non-mask-wearing classmates has become the order of the day - sometimes even instigated by school principals/teachers. I was able to experience this firsthand at two schools.

My children came up to me once or twice and asked to be vaccinated so that this constant pestering would finally come to an end. So that they could once again take part in school trips, go to the cinema or the swimming pool. How low must a society have sunk morally and ethically to allow such a thing?

Moreover, in view of the increasingly apparent learning deficits, which are certainly but not exclusively due to the long periods of school closures and homeschooling, I wonder when schools will finally resume their constitutional educational mission. Meanwhile, it is to be feared that the current situation at schools will establish itself as the ‘New Normal’ - just as is currently the case in other social institutions.

At times, more time was spent in schools on testing, creating and monitoring corona codes of conduct, or actively promoting “immunizations” than on the actual teaching mission. Do many seriously believe that all this will be inconsequential? – Sadly, it almost seems like.

How are children who cannot see the faces of their classmates and teachers, who are subjected to repressive coercive measures, who suffer from shortness of breath, headaches and dizzy spells, and who are told non-stop that every classmate is a potential danger to their health, ever supposed to grow up to be healthy, happy and self-determined people? It is simply absurd - but obviously so intentional.

The masquerade ultimately serves only one purpose: shut up and obey! And this is exactly what the cover picture expresses in a frightening way.

It is more than overdue that freedom-loving and self-thinking people finally take effective (peaceful) measures to stop this madness. Our children need us, now!
